Screen printing uses a porous mesh stretched over a frame. A stencil is produced manually on the screen defining the image that is to be printed. Ink is placed on top of the screen and forced through the mesh using a squeegee. At AB Screenprint, we do our screen printing in-house with images up to a maximum size of 60inches x 40inches (approximately 153.6cm x 102.4cm), all by hand. We can produce single copies of an image or unlimited numbers, depending on your requirements. Screen printing can be used for posters, stickers, point of sale, banners, signs and plastic VIP passes.
Artwork for litho printing is produced digitally with specialist graphic design soft ware. These images are then used to create films from which printing plates are made using a photochemical process. The plates are then attached to the litho press for the job to be printed. Litho printing can be up to a maximum size of B1. Litho printing can be used for letter heads, business cards, compliment slips, all office stationary, Duplicate Pads (NCR – No Carbon Required), brochures, leaflets, flyers and posters
